Where some sofas speak in decoration, the Abile I speaks in restraint. Straight lines, flush panels, and a silhouette so resolved it needs nothing added. This is the original expression of the Abile collection: a reclining sofa that earns its place in a considered interior not through ornamentation, but through the quiet confidence of everything being exactly right.
 
Form That Holds Its Ground The Abile I's defining feature is its architecture. Slim leather-wrapped side panels in dark nickel complement the frame without competing with it, while the low-profile stance gives it a horizontal sweep that elongates even a modest living room. Shown across two and three-seater configurations, it scales gracefully — each seat independent, each position effortless.
 
Built for the Long Term A kiln-dried hardwood frame with metal-plate reinforcement sits at its core, supported by heavy-duty sinuous springs and extra-wide webbings in the seat — a construction detail that distributes weight evenly and resists sagging over time. The cushioning hits Level 5 on Kelvin Giormani's softness scale: high-density polyurethane foam (35–40 kg/m³) wrapped in polyester fibre, with feather-blend back cushions available at higher grades for that last degree of give.
 
European-Origin Recliner Mechanisms Each seat reclines independently via European or American-origin mechanisms, controlled discreetly from the armrest. The motion is smooth and silent — no levers, no compromise to the silhouette.
