CODA. Sofa is made from a fully Japanese owned manufacturer with more than 90 years of experience in the sofa industry. From conceptualizing, to manufacturing and quality control, everything is done in-house with strict Japanese quality control.
From material selection, to the last stitching, each and every process of the way is quality controlled to ensure long lasting products.
We have deliberately chosen a made-to-order model so that every piece of leather cut and every length of timber shaped has a confirmed home waiting for it. No speculative stock. No end-of-season clearances. No material that exists without purpose.

CODA. Sofa uses a selection of hand picked leathers from reputable tanneries across Europe and America, focusing on quality and sustainability. All our Aniline leathers we use come from certified tanneries with KIND LEATHER and LEATHER WORKING GROUP (LWG) certifications. This ensures traceability of the leather and quality checks placed on environmental impacts and working conditions throughout the entire process.

We also use 100% FSC wood in our internal structures, ensuring no old growth timber and proper chain of custody.
